Pros:1. It is basically non-stick. Things like scrambled eggs might stick a little, but not bad.2. It cleans very easy, even with that bit of egg that sticks.3. It’s light, which was a very unexpected benefit.4. It’s large, which makes it good for cooking my meals that are cooked in one pan.5. You probably can cook a lot of foods without oil, if you want to. I don’t think my vegetables would stick if I wanted to toss them in the skillet and stir fry them.Cons:1. Things do stick, as I mentioned with the scrambled eggs.2.If you want to cook in butter, or oil, which, of course, you do, because they add flavor, it can be tricky. Take your butter and run it around the pan before pan is totally heated to coat the pan. Don’t let the butter melt in the pan without coating the pan with it. The butter will all slide to one side or separate. Oil is even trickier. You really need to use plastic wrap or a paper towel to coat the pan because, otherwise, your oil is going to slide away. You can try to encourage your oil to go where you want it with a spatula, but good luck with that.Excellent pan, it almost feels like cheating using this pan. You can bring your "D" game and the pan makes up for it. I mostly use stainless steel, and cast iron. I wanted a nonstick for eggs and searing. Just cooked some steaks with a smear of herbs and garlic puree which is hard to make this work in a stainless pan, but it was easy as breathing with this pan. Seared some salmon with a sugary glaze, no problem. Everything goes where you want it to. The thick aluminum core produces a very even heating even on a sub-par cook surface. The ceramic coating is very easy to clean, even the worst mess lifts sitting in cold water. If you only have 2 pans, get this one and a cast iron skillet.My son bought me this set because... well... my other set everything stuck to it. This is really a beautiful heavy duty set. I only gave it 4 stars because I cannot attest to the durability yet since I've only had a short time. But so far..... all the pieces I've used I'm impressed with. I've been cooking for 40 years so I'm not some youngin with little experience! I would recommend this set!We love This Brand! Calphalon is a family favorite! Non stick that lasts and lasts! We passed our 15 year old set down to our kids! This is an upgrade with the slatted lids and pour spouts! The dutch oven has measurements on the inside.It's light enough to flip things as I sauté with a curve that works well as long as I don't get too enthusiastic. I wish it were a smidgen deeper but the width works for my family of 5. It's dishwasher safe but frankly, it's easier and faster to handwash. Stuff comes right off with a gentle scrubby without any pre-soaking.Very nice and very slippery! The thickness of the aluminum base is a little thinner than I would like, though. Perfect for morning eggs. Cooked on cheese even wipes away easily on this new pan.Great pan but be very careful with metal utensils. It will scratch.I use this always I have some really expensive pans but this is my favorite.Es terrible, todo se le pega, desde el día uno!!!! Es triste que te roben de esa manera!Large pan with well fitted lid.......have bought several Calphalon products..............does not neeed large heat to cook...........especially chicken..........I know nothing about coookingAl principio funcionan bien pero después de poco tiempo de uso la comida se empieza a pegar. Los compré hace dos meses y ya no me funcionan..
