Hypnotic, compelling and addictive first LP by obscure German duo from Hannover quickly grows on any fan of the Velvet Underground, Spaceman 3, Suicide, Faust, Can. So much more convincingly psychedelic than the roughly contemporaneous paisley underground and psych revival sounds, though free floating bits of familiar garage like "Hang on Sloopy" and "Sweet Jane" emerge from organ drenched guitar drone, only to melt back into the fabric of the music. Most of the songs aren't actually all that long, but the whole creates an impression of continuous, open-ended improvisation stretched across the architecture of multiple songs to form a single coherent piece.
