If you like unusual mysteries, you will enjoy this! I am a huge fan of Jodi Taylor’s books, I have read ALL of the “Chronicles” series and I believe all of her other books too. If I find more, I will be reading those too! This one does not disappoint but once in awhile I got a tiny bit lost and had to go back and reread a section to get clarification. This is really because there are many, many characters and many different locations throughout the story. Her imagination (the greatest) first unfolded for me in the “Chronicles” series; my first intro to Jodi Taylor. For me the rest was just a delightful journey to the places and people she introduced. As usual, you are in the thoughts and actions of the main character, Elizabeth Cage. We only see and experience the actions of the other characters through her thoughts and actions, but believe me that is enough! The characters even as seen through Elizabeth’s eyes are rich, intriguing and engaging. I never tell the story in my reviews, the authors do that when they write their books. However, I do truly recommend ANYTHING Jodi Taylor writes as a really good read!
