Dark Ride - Thrilling Indoor Amusement Park Attraction for Family Fun

Dark Ride proves that golden boys don't always stay that way. Jimmy's cloud dumped him about a decade before the book begins and shows his sad life of adultery and trying to make a living at selling cut-rate insurance to migrants. He wants his old lush life back and thinks he's found a way to do it. For him, having the Good Old Boys Club in his back pocket is just a way of life. A new reality dawns when things aren't turning out as simple as he thought they would.This book is for the most part very well written. There's a point about two-thirds of the way through where the story falls flat and doesn't start picking up momentum again until the last couple of chapters. Dark Ride is a good read, especially for those who don't have to have a warm and fuzzy ending to leave them feeling complete.
